PROJECT-SPECIFIC, UL-LISTED QUALITY
Each Infratech Solid State control is built on a project-specific basis, with wiring diagrams provided for ease of installation. Infratech is a UL 508 Listed Control Manufacturer. We assign each custom control a UL Listed number and test it to ensure quality performance before shipping. Infratech recommends working with a licensed electrician to configure and install any Infratech heater or control package.
NEMA RATED
All Infratech controllers are NEMA 12 Rated for exposure to mist, and all relay panels are NEMA 4 Rated for complete weather resistance.
BRAND FEATURES
INFRARED HEAT BASICS
Infratech heaters use electric infrared radiant heat generated by a heated quartz element. The element emits a safe, clean wavelength of light that transfers heat directly to objects like chairs or tables, rather than heating the air. For this reason, infrared heat can be distributed evenly, unlike gas or propane heaters, and will not “blow away” in drafty conditions. Infratech medium wave quartz element heaters generate a barely discernible, pleasing glow that will not affect the ambience of an outdoor space — unlike short wave or halogen electric heaters that use very bright-colored light that can cast a harsh glare.
ENERGY-EFFICIENT PERFORMANCE
Infratech heating systems operate silently, emit no hazardous greenhouse gases or unpleasant odors, and do not produce the negative emissions created by most gas-fired heaters or outdoor fireplaces. They are also energy-efficient, converting over 90% of input energy directly into radiant heat and costing only pennies per hour to operate. Infratech heaters are safe for use in areas like outdoor rooms, terraces, patios and gazebos, and are UL/CUL Listed for both indoor and outdoor use.
