On What Surfaces Can The System Be Mounted To?
The camera and the keypad can be mounted to almost any surface using the hardware provided.
Will alarm constantly be triggered from small animals and rodents?
No, The system uses Ai to detect any human movement (not just a child) and filter out other movement. Occasionally something may mimic a human for which Customized Zones can be used to eliminate specific areas from triggering the alarm.
Is The SwamCam Waterproof?
The SwamCam is IP65 water resistant, meaning it can stand up to all humid and wet outdoor conditions.
How Far From The Camera Does The AI Detect Motion?
Featuring a fish-eye lens and 160° field of view, the AI can detect human motion up to approximately 35 feet in every direction (within the cameras view).
Alerts BEFORE Child Enters Pool: Unlike standard pool/floating pool alarms, which alerts after someone enters the water, our alarm uses Ai for human detection and is designed with a “danger detection zone” which can be customized so you are alerted before anyone is in real danger; Our system will also sound an alarm locally when triggered, even if your Wi-Fi goes down.
ASTM Certified: Our system has been certified by an independent lab to ASTM F2208 standards, which is required by many municipalities across the US. Please note that our camera and indoor alarm plugs into a standard wall outlet and requires an electrical outlet to operate.
Photo Notification & Livestream: SwamCam will send a push notification and/or an email with a photo highlighting the detection as soon as someone enters the danger zone, so you can immediately see what triggered the alert. Check on your pool area anytime, from any location with internet access using live stream 1080p Full-HD.
Auto Re-Arm for Added Safety: Our alarm uses an arm/disarm system, so you can use the pool or hot tub without triggering the alarm. For added safety, the alarm will also automatically arm itself after a specified amount of time that you can program from app.
Warranty Included: One year limited warranty on all parts and 30 day return policy. Frequent updates to software, firmware and app. These updates are available to all previously purchased units which get the benefit of the latest features and correct any issues that may have been discovered.
