Google filed a movement to dismiss a defamation lawsuit introduced by anti-corporate range activist Robby Starbuck, who claimed Google’s AI falsely related him with sexual assault allegations and a white nationalist.

Starbuck is looking for $15 million in damages from Google. However the firm says in its submitting that his claims merely symbolize his “misuse of developer instruments to induce hallucinations.” Starbuck doesn’t establish what prompts he used to generate the outputs at situation, in keeping with Google, or any precise one that was misled by the alleged claims. Starbuck didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
